He was eating, drinking, and making lots of noise, constantly calling out. His presence filled our home with joy, and we were thrilled to have such a lively new companion.

Five days after having him, our joy turned into heartbreak. He died suddenly of a brain bleed, which we confirmed through a necropsy. We were with him almost all day, every day, and never saw him get hurt. His sudden loss left us devastated and searching for answers.

Determined to fill the void in our hearts, we decided to get another cockatiel shortly after. This new bird quickly settled in, and we’ve had him for a few months now. He’s doing fantastic, bringing joy back into our lives. We wanted him to have a friend, so we got another one just a week ago.
